using assigned macro keyboard in windows 11

Hello, I'm using a macro keyboard in windows 11 with luamacros, it works fine until I open the windows 11 search menu, then i can type in that with the keyboard that I assigned for macros. I'm not sure if there is a fix for this, or if it is how windows search is designed in nature, but from what I can tell, this is the only place in the system where i can type. All other places the keyboard is disabled as expected for normal typing.
