LM doesnt detect keyboard

Post by 121028 » 16 Nov 2019, 17:40

Hey!

I just downloaded LM. I can't make it work because when the software asks me to press a button on the keyboard I want to use (f.e. "J"), nothing happens. When I click 'cancel', and return to the code page, I see the "J" appeared in the code where the cursor was positioned. Somehow the software detected the keypress like I wanted to type onto the codepage, instead of using it in the popup to identify the keyboard. Please help!

Thanks! Stefan

Strange, is the keyboard listed when you print devices?
Try to assign name using its id, not detect by keypress.

Yes, both keyboards are listed. However, I tried entering different hardware IDs in LuaMacros, but still it asks for keyboard detection when I want to launch the script, and the same thing happens.

You need to use different function to assign name by id.
