Any suggestions - keys losing programming after one instance

Hello,
Has anyone encountered this? I have a USB keypad running on my computer and it's working perfectly. I bought the same keypad for another user and programmed it on their computer, running the same scripts, and while some scripts work perfectly each time, other keys/scripts work once then stop working. We're both running Windows 8; the only difference would be the computers (i'm running on a laptop, second user is running a HP all-in-one)
Any suggestions? We've tried restarting, reprogramming all the macro's, renaming the keypad, but while some keys continue to work, others keep stopping after 1-2 instances.
