Hello,

I use an a4tech x7 keyboard that sends its special key keystrokes on a seperate hid device.

Unfortunately HID macros does not have it in the list of devices, although I can recognize the device an capture the keystrokes with other programs. Is there a way to make the program recognize this particular HID?

Sorry, have no experience with this hardware. If the HID device is something virtual used by special keyboard driver, I could imagine standard HID list doesn't recognize it.
But it's hard to tell without having it connected and check some system calls...
