Keyboard macros

Hello, I'm very new to HIDmacros and I have a simple question.
I attached a numeric keypad and want to assign the ATC numbers one to nine to the keys on the keypad.
When I have Hidmacros running and the appication has the focus it all works. But when FSX has focus (while HIDMacros is still running in the background) nothing happens.
Any advice?

How are your 1-9 macros defined? Sending keys or FSX events...

Sorry for the late reply. Was installing a new computer.
I'm using the Sending keys. It now seems to work OK for Prepa3d but not for FSX-SE.
Strange I also do not get a Simconnect up and running. I seems it is not possible to locate the correct dll and I can't find a way to tell HID where it is

I think Hidmacros is build for different version of SimConnect, not for FSX-SE. There are other posts related to this problem.
Regarding send keys problem: don't know what can be wrong. If it work with P3d (and other applications like notepad I suppose) it can be Hidmacros/FSX-SE combination problem.
