I have used HID macros for a streaming software, and use it to trigger specifik sounds and video overlays at a press of a button.
My problem is, that this only works when the program is not in focus.

HID simply sends a sequences of button presses shift+ctrl+d
This works fine on my dedicated keyboard when the program is not in focus, but when it is in focus, they won't work. They will work though, if i press that same combination of letters on my regular keyboard, so i expect that this has something to do with HID Macros. Is there a way i can resolve this?

This might be blocked on purpose, I don't remember exactly if such blocking code was in Hidmacros.
Anyway to answer your question: no. Even if this was a bug or coded on purpose, I have no chance to do any code change in Hidmacros any more.
