Any ways to prevent key repeat when holding key down?

Post by iam » 06 Apr 2011, 21:04

Hi guys,

Is there any ways to prevent key repeat when holding down a key.
So if I'm holding the "g" key down, I want to send only one instance of the "g" keystroke ?

Thanks.

As far as I know only global switch in keyboard properties for complete system.
That's why I have added game devices to support toggle switches. There's no problem if joystick button is pressed for a long time.

Inexpensive (but not free) way to stop the "repeat" or "hold down" feature when mapping toggle switches to keyboard hacks.

Thanks Guru...

I don't know if wiring to a toggle is what you were actually doing... but I do know it's what I was looking for when I first found this post so I thought it would be a good place to put a link about how to do it.
