Visual Studio 2017 Community - ignoring luamacros

Post by niico » 26 May 2018, 16:05

Hi

I've got Luamacros working well - for example in Sublime Text. As a test I've remapped the z key to enter - and it works in Sublime Text.

When I switch to Visual Studio 2017, it just types keys on the second keyboard as if luamacros wasn't running at all. This is the only application this happens in (I'm also having similar problems with a Stream Deck).

Any ideas why this is and how to fix it?

thx.

Make sure both applications (luamacros and Visual Studio) are running with the same user account. Just an idea...

They are I only have 1 account - this would be super weird on Windows no?

I think this may be because I run Visual Studio as an Administrator - and Luamacros under a regular user account.

I haven't had a chance to test this hypothesis yet, will when I get to it.
