Re: Assign a keyboard in the start of the script

That alphanumeric mush is exactly what is returned by Windows, you can take any part of the string that uniquely identifies the keyboard and pass it to lmc_device_set_name. The feature you requested is already there and you guessed the function name right :-), see https://github.com/me2d13/luamacros...

Re: Unicode support?

I don't see (technically) solution how to "paste" or "inject" text to some application.

And no, I don't plan to investigate possibilities and extend luamacros with this functionality.

Re: Assign a keyboard in the start of the script

Assigning keyboard (fixed) name is decribed in how-to section of this forum - see http://www.hidmacros.eu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=248 These days I'm improving wiki pages at github and device names is one of the topics that will show up soon. Yesterday I added page about keyboard triggers - see ht...

Re: Unicode support?

Yes, lmc_send_keys implementation is quite old and has bugs. If you need more control use lmc_send_input (http://www.hidmacros.eu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=475) which is more complicated to use (more code is required) but has more features and should support unicode. I don't plan to extend lmc_send...

Re: Example script for OBS with usb keypad (homemade streamdeck)

Person who you asked for help wrote some software and stated you need to know lua to use it. It's not enough to combine some scripts if you don't understand what they are doing. To your problem: what about removing the direction condition from the begging and use something like if (button == 86 and ...

Re: detecting "Double-click" vs "single click" from numpad

Hmm if you need some action also on single click (and different on double click) then it currently not possible with luamacros :-(. In this case you would really need to start timer on first click and on timer "alarm" perform action for single click if send press hasn't arrived. You can log timers a...

Re: Keeping button pressed

Yes, then it's the game issue. Some games read keyboards "directly", at low level, in the same way as luamacros internally does. Then such programs cannot be hacked with luamacros.
