Re: No "result" in an old game? Commandos 1...

Ahh, Commandos 1, I remember :-) Anyway I'm afraid there's not much to be done. Some games can read keyboard directly and not using windows events. In that case those "fake inputs" aka virtual key-presses won't work. The only other thing you can try is to use lmc_send_input which is using different ...

Re: How to disable the local mouse?

Strange but no. You can't disable mouse related code in HidMacros

Re: Portable???

There's no installer for any of these. You just copy the files and go. Hidmacros require admin rights for the first run to register some COM objects - this won't change (as development is over). I think luamacros can run without admin rights - just could have problems to block keys for apps running ...

Re: Lua Macros quick start not working.

With first key press you just mark that keyboard to be the "macro" keyboard. Then with other key presses on that macro keyboard you should even get something printed in luamacros window (key not yet assigned) or for keys C and N some action is done (calc or notepad started)

Re: Question: How to get active window title

Such function (to activate window by title) doesn't exist in luamacros.
I remember I had some problems implementing it in hidmacros and maybe it never worked 100%.
I may give it another chance.
If you want to track it, create issue at github.

Re: lmc_get_window_title() how does it work.?

It returns the value, doesn't print it.
Try print(lmc_get_window_title())

Re: LM doesnt detect keyboard

You need to use different function to assign name by id.

Re: LM doesnt detect keyboard

Strange, is the keyboard listed when you print devices?
Try to assign name using its id, not detect by keypress.

Re: Detecting dis/connect woes

Now I spent some time playing with that. My findings: - I can detect USB device change/remove but can't find out device type and name - print devices really doesn't redetect them So generaly it's doable, I can add callback on device connect and disconnect. In this handler you could detect devices an...
